Learning Style Assessment
Discover How Your Child Learns Best
This short assessment helps us understand your child's unique learning style, strengths, and any special considerations — so your coaching plan is built specifically for them.
This assessment takes about 10–15 minutes. You can complete one per child. Results are shared with your coach before your first session.
The Four Learning Styles
Most children lean toward one or two of these styles. Understanding yours helps us choose curriculum, pacing, and teaching methods that actually work.
Visual
Learns by seeing
Visual learners think in pictures and images. They thrive with diagrams, charts, color-coding, illustrated books, maps, and written instructions. They often prefer to read rather than listen and may doodle while processing information.
Auditory
Learns by hearing
Auditory learners process information best through listening and speaking. They thrive with read-alouds, discussions, audio books, songs, rhymes, and verbal instruction. They often talk through problems and remember what they hear.
Kinesthetic
Learns by doing
Kinesthetic learners need to move and touch to understand. They thrive with hands-on projects, experiments, building, acting out stories, and physical activity. They may struggle to sit still for long periods and learn best when their body is engaged.
Reading & Writing
Learns through text
Reading/writing learners excel with written words. They thrive with note-taking, reading, writing assignments, lists, and workbooks. They often prefer written instructions over verbal ones and love to organize information in writing.
